GWB Entertainment have recently been commissioned to produce the opening of a major new theatre in Shanghai, China - The Shanghai Culture Square Theatre. Built over 6 years, this glittering, multi-million dollar venue has been developed as both a producing and receiving house specialising in Musical Theatre. The grand opening will take place on September 23rd 2011.
GWB have created Ultimate Broadway, a glamourous evening that will take an audience through the different eras of broadway musicals from the classic shows of the 1950’s through to the blockbusters of the 1980’s and then beyond into Broadway today. The show will star 4 Broadway and The West End stars, 10 ensemble members from London, around 20 talented local ensemble from Shanghai as well as a 40 piece orchestra.
The show is being directed by Paul Warwick Griffin, choreographed by Ashley Wallen and musically supervised by Stephen Brooker.
