Seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing Assistant with a comprehensive skillset to join our team. As Marketing Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across different areas of marketing, including communications and copywriting, social media management, email marketing, event coordination, administration and more.

This is an opportunity to drive social media for our various businesses and productions based out of our Adelaide office. You’ll be responsible for the strategy, creation and deployment of always-on social media management across channels including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, has strong organisational skills, and is ready to make a significant impact.

A day in the life ☀️

You rock up to the Adelaide office, grab a coffee (or tea!) and dive into your to-do list.

First stop: Socials. You’re checking all our social accounts for messages, tags and collaborations, scrolling and analysing the latest batch of social posts, monitoring engagements and taking note of any learnings along the way.

Next up, you’re managing your social media calendar, preparing assets, working on captions and coordinating your next video capturing mission.

On some days you will have meetings with various internal and external stakeholders to discuss marketing strategies, on others you might be in the store or the studio planning for your next piece of content. No two days are the same!

About you 👋

  • A proactive go-getter with a keen interest in the theatre industry.

  • Able to shoot video content and capture photos on a mobile device.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Photo and video editing skills will be highly regarded, but not a deal breaker!

  • Experience in a social media and/or content creator role would be an advantage.

  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

  • Positive attitude, accountability and passion for all things social

  • Your ability to be creative is limitless - in fact, we encourage it! You will use your ability to spot trends and develop proactive content ideas.

Your Responsibilities 💻

  • Creating, managing, scheduling, and capturing content for social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

  • Briefing in relevant designers for assets needed, if not creating assets yourself

  • Monitoring and adjusting social media strategies based on testing, data, and insights gained from industry knowledge.

  • Monthly social reporting and analytics

  • Staying abreast of social trends, platforms and incorporating these into social media plans where beneficial to the business

  • Keeping up with media coverage across the different businesses via our media monitoring tool.

  • Responding to social media messages, general enquiry emails and phone calls.
